Synopsis
Doctor Browning pleads not guilty to Lynsey's murder. Brendan and Eoghan's past is revealed. Lacey snubs a confused Dylan, whilst the pressures of parenthood take their toll on Nancy.Plot
Cheryl wants the viewing of Lynsey's body to happen at 2 Oakdale Drive, and Brendan to watch over the body whilst she and Eoghan attend Doctor Browning's hearing. Texas thinks it's time Dodger made amends with Dirk. Nancy's determined to go to Lynsey's funeral. Dodger befriends Tom at the Dog. At the hearing, Doctor Browning pleads not guilty to Lynsey's murder. Cheryl wails from the viewing dock. Lacey appears distant with Dylan.
Ste won't stop talking about Eoghan to Leanne and then checks in on Brendan. Cheryl visits Mercedes, asking for her help. Jack tells Darren he needs to support Nancy if she chooses to go to the funeral. Mercedes reveals to Cheryl she's compos mentis and putting an act on. Cheryl wants answers from Mercedes over why Doctor Browning murdered her best friend. Tom tricks Dodger into giving him £20. Nancy struggles being away from Oscar and quickly returns to his room to be by his side.
Lacey's rude to Dylan and then snubs him. Eoghan recalls to Brendan how he bullied him after they slept together years ago. Ste considers doing coffees and snacks for the funeral guests. Lacey changes her opinion on poets after hearing Ally give his. She lets Ally read In Flanders Fields to her. Cheryl has a change of heart and allows Brendan to attend the funeral. Eoghan makes clear to Brendan that if he does anything to upset anyone at the funeral tomorrow, he'll make him pay.Cast
