Synopsis
As the gang takes in the surroundings of the Irish castle they are mystified and impressed. They walk through the grand hallway and Carol can't understand why Finn hadn't said anything before about his background. Finn grins - "you wouldn't have believed it anyway". The butler interrupts Finn to let him know that his grandmother, Lady Molly is ready to see him. Finn's Gran talks to him about handing down the family heritage and mentions Finn's deceased mother who abandoned her duty in order to marry his tearaway father. She urges Finn to come and take over the castle but Finn is adamant that he does not want this responsibility and although he is Lord Kildiggin he wants to continue his life as Rory Finnigan.
Meanwhile, Sean comes home after doing the evening shift in the shop. Cindy tries to get Max to make Sean a cuppa but Max refuses - the atmosphere is strained and it's obvious that he's lost all respect for Sean. The next morning Cindy heads off to work and leaves Holly in Sean's care. When she and Max have gone Holly drops her breakfast on the floor and Sean is instantly angry with her. Later Holly continues whinging and Sean threatens her with 'the cupboard'.
Max comes home to hear Sean shouting at Holly in the conservatory. Max plucks up courage to confront Sean - he asks where Holly is and Sean calmly explains his actions. Max is horrified when he discovers that Holly's in the cupboard and goes over to let her out. This just confirms Max's suspicions of recent events, but he is unsure what to do about it.Plot
