Synopsis
Esther is mortified when she crashes Ash's bike and flashes her underwear. Darren remains distant and explodes at Nancy. Myra struggles with the loss of Mercedes and Bobby. Rhys continues her affair with Cindy.Plot
The doctor tells Nancy and Darren that their son's heart rate and blood pressure is what they'd expect from a pre-term baby, however he may have hearing and/or visual impairment. George needs to shoot a two-minute film with no dialogue for his drama project. Dylan, Esther and Lacey all pitch in to help him. Nancy tries to get Darren to open up to her but he won't. Myra has her hair and make-up done to try and pick herself back up.
Rhys steals Myra's cleaning keys so that he and Cindy can sleep together in places they won't get caught. Sinead talks about a charity ball in front of Esther, having heard she wasn't invited. George lets Maddie play the part in his film over Esther. Darren blames Nancy for their son's premature birth. He tells her that if anything happens to their baby he won't be able to forgive her. Maddie and Sinead are spiteful to Esther after filming for George. Lacey encourages Esther to ride Ash's bike; Esther does but crashes and flashes her underwear. Maddie records it.
At the flat, Darren unleashes his anger in front of Frankie and Jack and ends up earning himself a slap from Frankie. Rhys texts Cindy where he is but she replies saying she can't get away. Myra drinks alone at the Dog. Jack tries calming Darren down. Myra befriends Dave. Frankie visits Nancy and doesn't tell her what Darren said. Dirk intervenes when Myra gets drunk and dances with Dave. The lads leave and Jacqui takes Myra home. Darren ends up telling Jack that Nancy isn't a decent parent and he doesn't care if he never sees her again.Cast
