Synopsis
Myra is distraught as she decides to let Carl take Bobby to California. Nancy finally gets to meet her son. Doug wonders if time apart from Ste may be best.Plot
Doug takes Carl for a coffee. Nancy's in pain. Carl plans to hold a memorial for Riley in California and asks Doug to attend. Nancy's desperate to see her son. Myra's told that Mercedes has been moved to a psychiatric hospital. Carl shows up at 26 Leigh Road for Bobby. Darren takes Nancy to see their son in a wheelchair. Doug visits Ste and it isn't long before they're arguing again. When the kitchen tap comes off and water spurts everywhere, Ste calls Brendan.
Darren finds out from Jack of Riley's death. Carl is adamant he's taking Bobby. Darren struggles to come to terms with the news. Carl tells Jacqui and Myra he'll have the legal paperwork for Bobby by the end of the day. Nancy promises her son she'll be the best mother ever. Brendan fixes the kitchen tap; Ste wants confirmation from Brendan that he'd have taken a bullet for him. Brendan tells Ste he would, before turning his back on Ste and insisting he isn't good for him. Jacqui tries to help Myra see sense over what's best for Bobby.
Doug tells Ste he'll be heading out to California with Carl for a few weeks so that they can clear their heads. Myra doesn't want to let Bobby go as she fears she'll never see him again, but knowing she has to do what's best for Bobby, she rings Carl, meets him in the village and hands Bobby over to him. Carl, Doug and Bobby leave in a taxi to California together. Ste watches Doug leave. Darren's upset with Nancy when she asks about Mitzeee upon learning Riley's death.Cast
