Synopsis
Nancy and Darren worry for their son. Doug is upset by Ste's selfishness as he continues to protect Brendan. Brendan is forced to make a decision as Cheryl holds him responsible for Cam's death.Plot
Ste calms an angry Brendan down in front of Doug. Myra breaks the news to her family that Riley's died. They need to give the police statements. Jacqui is adamant that everyone tells the truth. Doug's hurt that Ste hasn't supported him over Riley's death the same way he's supported Brendan. They have an explosive argument. Cheryl cries and thanks Brendan for looking out for her. The McQueens return from the police station; Mercedes has been charged.
Nancy's baby is born. Jack tries to manage Darren's expectations given how premature he is. Declan comes round and asks Brendan if he killed Walker's brother. Brendan insists he didn't. Leanne and Texas console Doug. Carl visits Mitzeee in prison. The charges for attempted murder are dropped against her but she has to serve time for escaping. Leanne tries talking Ste round for Doug. Myra visits a mute Mercedes. Carl tells Mitzeee that Riley's final words were that he loved her.
Nancy's desperate to see her son. Frankie has to calm her down. Myra reassures Mercedes she won't turn her back on her. Mercedes doesn't say a word. Carl wants Riley buried in California and plans to take Bobby with him. Myra threatens the solicitor, wanting her daughter well looked after. Jack tells Darren that he and Nancy will need each other over the coming weeks. Nancy asks Frankie if her baby is going to die. Frankie's honest, knowing there's a chance he won't make it. Mercedes' solicitor arranges for her to have a psychiatric assessment.Cast
