Synopsis
Mitzeee and Carl are distraught when Riley dies in hospital. Nancy and Darren are left fearful as Nancy is informed that she will need to deliver. Jacqui is infuriated when the McQueens take Mercedes's side over Phoebe's.Plot
Walker reclaims the gun from Brendan and points it at Ste. Brendan shields Ste and Walker ends up fleeing. Mitzeee calls an ambulance for Riley. Nancy's checked over at the hospital. The paramedics tend to Riley. Doug returns to the village and is shocked by what's going on. Mitzeee's rearrested. Mercedes rings Riley's phone from the police station and leaves a voicemail. Nancy's been contracting; she's given medication to try and stop further contractions but will have to give birth if it doesn't work.
Brendan exposes Doug as having worked with Walker. Declan rings Brendan and Brendan discovers he's with Walker. Walker plans to overdose Declan. Jacqui reassures Phoebe she doesn't hate her. Brendan lashes out at Doug and Ste has to keep him off. Doug recalls an address that came up whilst he was in D.I. Hudson's car. Riley's taken into surgery. Myra beats herself up for how Mercedes has turned out. Brendan, Ste and Doug make it to the address and find a tied up, unconscious Declan. Darren reassures Nancy.
Mitzeee visits an unconscious Riley post-surgery and begs him to pull through. She feels his hand move, but he then flatlines and the instruments ring out their alarms. Nurses flood the room and CPR is performed, but it is unsuccessful. Brendan watches a video from Walker on his phone. Walker says that this is goodbye. Nancy's informed the medication hasn't worked and she needs an emergency caesarean as the baby's heart rate is weak. A policeman visits Mercedes in her cell as Riley's time of death is called out and a crushed Mitzeee is held in a devastated Carl's arms.Cast
