Synopsis
Mercedes goes to shocking lengths after Phoebe reveals the truth about the kidnapping. Brendan misreads the signals with Ste. Doug agrees to help Walker, but Walker has an ulterior motive.Plot
Riley transfers £250,500 to his current account. Doug is told by Walker that Ste's being sent to a safe house. Cheryl's back and is giving Brendan the silent treatment. Riley turns to Carl, but he can only lend his son £200,000. Doug gets Ste to pack a bag and meet him at 3pm. Mercedes continues to try and justify her actions to an uncomfortable Phoebe. Nancy's unable to get away from Darren to meet with Mitzeee and give her the money she needs.
Riley turns to Doug and Cheryl for money, but is still left £5000 short. Walker arranges a meeting with D.I. Hudson to explain himself. The villagers come together to raise the remaining amount that Riley needs. Phoebe leaves Bobby unattended to buy him more nappies, where she reads a newspaper headline about Bobby's disappearance. Ste takes Brendan over some food and finds him with the gun in hand. He talks sense into Brendan, who tries to kiss him. Ste isn't impressed and rushes off. Walker meets D.I. Hudson in her car, knocks her out, and then drives off. Riley leaves the money at the requested tree and finds a note stating that Bobby will be returned by 3pm.
Walker hands Doug the keys to the car. Riley emerges from hiding when Mercedes shows up at the tree. Darren checks Nancy's phone when she receives a text from Mitzeee. He rings Mitzeee, who hangs up. Nancy's angry with Darren. Mitzeee sneaks into her flat. Mercedes claims she went to the tree to see Mitzeee. Phoebe then shows up with Bobby and calls her a liar. Walker rings Brendan and torments him. Riley wrongly assumes Phoebe kidnapped Bobby, until Phoebe plays a voicemail from Mercedes. Mercedes runs off with Bobby and up to the roof of an apartment building. Riley sends Phoebe off to get help.Cast
