Synopsis

Mercedes accuses Mitzeee of kidnapping Bobby. Walker pushes Doug for an answer on his offer. Nancy tries to help a frightened Mitzeee.

Plot

Mercedes keeps up her phoney act in front of her family. Family liaison officer Julie Adams visits Mercedes and Riley. Doug and Ste argue over Brendan; Ste tells Doug he needs to forget about Brendan and Doug starts to ease up. Walker pays Doug a visit when Ste heads out. Mercedes and Riley are asked to do a TV appeal. When Mercedes gets a moment away, she visits Phoebe and Bobby. Phoebe asks Mercedes why they're kidnapping Bobby and upon hearing Mercedes' response doesn't want any further involvement in the kidnapping.

Doug's uncertain on committing to Walker's offer as he doesn't want to hurt Ste. Walker gives Doug his police card so that he can ring him should he change his mind. Mercedes lies to Phoebe, telling her that Jacqui's proud of her and she's part of the family now. Ste visits Brendan and hates seeing him in the condition he's in. He wants to help him out so Brendan tells him he needs a gun. It's almost time for Mercedes to do the TV appeal. Doug learns that Ste's lied to him over his whereabouts again. Jacqui's given permission to sit with Mercedes during the TV appeal. Mercedes and Riley are asked not to mention Mitzeee's name.

Nancy watches the TV appeal at the flat. Mercedes ends up calling Mitzeee out on the TV appeal, infuriating Nancy. Mitzeee rings Nancy and she agrees to give her whatever she needs. Ste meets with a man in the alleyway and exchanges money for a gun. Nancy meets Mitzeee and Mitzeee asks her to go to her flat and get her some money. Riley finds a blackmail note at the flat, demanding £500,000 for Bobby and no police involvement. Doug catches Ste heading up to Brendan's. Mercedes suggests to Riley that he gets Carl to lend them the money for Bobby. Doug meets with Walker and agrees to help take Brendan down.
