Synopsis
Doug leaves his parents gobmacked with a revelation on his wedding day to Leanne. Dennis makes Leanne's dreams come true. Mercedes kicks up trouble with Nancy upon her return from Dubai.Plot
Despite Ste's ultimatum yesterday, Doug remains insistent on marrying Leanne. Dodger advises Doug to come clean to his parents sooner than later. Leanne's gone missing. Riley and Mercedes return from Dubai. Connie finds Leanne on the archway and Leanne explains that she was jilted at her last wedding. A suited up Doug pushes Ste over the edge. Ste tells Doug to find a new man and storms off. Herb works out that Ste fancies Doug and advises Doug to let him go.
Connie gifts Leanne a necklace. Dodger's drafted in as Doug's best man. Texas checks in on Ste. Darren doesn't want to have sex with Nancy whilst she's pregnant, but she doesn't think he'll last that long. Dennis is blown away upon seeing Leanne in her wedding dress. Leanne walks down the aisle. Riley's taken aback to learn from Myra that Doug and Leanne are getting married today. Ste turns up at the wedding just as Doug reads out his vows. As Ste goes to walk off, Doug comes out as gay to his parents.
Doug's parents are horrified to realise that everyone except them knew that Doug was gay already. Herb is bitterly disappointed in his son and he and Connie walk out. Ste catches up with Connie and Herb and explains to them that Doug never wanted the money, he just wanted to make them proud. Ste's words have no effect on Herb and Connie and they depart. As the wedding guests celebrate Doug and Ste they forget about Leanne and how she's feeling. Dennis plucks up the courage to propose to Leanne and tells the registrar Leanne's dying so that they can say their vows, despite it not being legal. Nancy learns from Mercedes that Mitzeee's sentencing has been brought forwards to next week.Cast
