Synopsis
Maddie pushes Esther to breaking point. Ste issues an ultimatum, whilst Leanne worries over the baby lie.Plot
Ste hides under the bed covers when Connie takes Doug breakfast in bed. The hospital call Darren to inform him that Jack's operation went well. Doug reassures his mother he's never been happier. Nancy suggests to Darren he talks to Esther. Maddie comforts Ruby and tells Esther not to blame herself. At sixth form, razors fall out of Esther's locker when she opens the door.
Connie and Herb help Leanne set up the boathouse for the wedding. Phoebe tells Esther she knows who started the rumour about her. Esther confronts Maddie and ends up punching her in the face. Ruby supports Maddie while Esther accuses Phoebe of stirring, before heading to the hospital to see Jack and leaving when Darren shows up. Connie can't believe she's going to have a grandchild in a different country and asks Leanne if she can visit to help out when the baby's born. Esther tells Frankie she punched Maddie. Frankie can't work out what's got into Esther lately.
Jack regains consciousness and Darren shows him the baby scan photo. Jack's confused when Darren says Esther won't be going near the baby. Phoebe angrily confronts Maddie when she hears Maddie acting like she's done nothing wrong. Ruby suggests to Maddie they go back to hers. Jack tries talking sense into Darren. Ste begrudgingly takes a photo of Doug, Leanne, Connie and Herb. Esther's angry to see Maddie. In front of Frankie and Ruby, Maddie tells Esther she understands where her anger and hurt's come from. Darren apologises to Esther. A fed up Ste demands Doug tells his parents the truth or else they're over.Cast
