Synopsis
With Jack in hospital, Esther's situation becomes unbearable as blame is laid at her door. Nancy and Darren's good baby news is overshadowed when they notice Jack being wheeled into a hospital room. Dennis saves the day for Leanne, Dodger slips up with Texas, and Jen has to face Tilly as she joins her class.Plot
Darren tries ringing Jack but gets no answer. Ste loses his temper with Leanne when she brags about the wedding. Frankie finds an unconscious Jack and rings for an ambulance. Dodger, Doug and Herb go bowling. Darren and Nancy receive their baby scan photo; their happiness is cut short when Jack's rushed through the hospital corridors. Doug invites Ste bowling but Ste turns down the offer. Jen's unhappy when Tilly reveals she's taken up art and will be in her class.
Darren worries he's going to lose Jack. Connie and Leanne question Texas over Dodger during their spa treatment. Leanne stresses when the wedding venue falls through. Esther, Ruby, Charlie and Tom head to the hospital to see Jack and learn from Darren that he had a heart attack and might need an operation. Tilly enjoys making Jen uncomfortable during their first class together. Darren comforts a devastated Esther. He tells her that he and Nancy are having a boy.
Dennis thrills Leanne with the boathouse as her and Doug's new wedding venue! Esther pretends her first day of college went well and tells Darren she didn't go home for lunch or see Jack after the morning. Doug convinces a reluctant Ste to keep the act up for the wedding. Darren walks in on Esther apologising to Jack. Esther admits she and Jack argued before his heart attack. Darren tells Esther that if Jack dies, it's all her fault.Cast
