Synopsis
The Savages are left picking up the pieces after Dodger's shock announcement. Esther and Ruby are dreading their first day of college. With Martha gone, the Kanes struggle to get by.Plot
Dirk reassures Will and Liberty that they're his. He explains that he didn't tell Dodger about his biological father as he didn't want to lose him. Esther's dreading sixth form. Dirk finds out from Texas that Dodger learnt the truth from Walt. Esther shows Nancy her impersonation video of Maddie. Nancy thinks it's funny and that Maddie will have taken it as a joke.
Reality sets in for the Kane siblings when they run out of food at home. Dodger returns to the boathouse and tells Dirk, Will and Liberty he's leaving them. Ash, Callum, Lacey and George search for money around the house. Dodger wants to know what happened to Patrick; Dirk insists that Anna left Patrick when he was one to be with him but Dodger doesn't believe him. Ruby returns from Spain. The Savages are in tatters over the revelation.
Ash, Callum, Lacey and George are elated when Ally shows up at the house with bags of shopping. Liberty and Will try to stop Dodger from leaving but are unsuccessful. Esther tells Ruby she made a pass at Maddie. Ash is grateful to Ally. Ruby insists she's over Jono and ignores Esther when Maddie rings her. Dodger shows up at Texas's with his bags. Dirk burns a letter that Anna wrote Dodger about Patrick.Cast
