Synopsis
Cindy gets her GCSE results and is pleased that she's got one 'B', three 'C's and an 'A*' in biology - which means that she's finally got all the qualifications she needs to start her nursing course. Sean can't see the point in the nursing course since Cindy's already got a job and a baby, but Cindy is determined to achieve more in life.
Meanwhile, it's the official re-opening of the yard today and the market is packed with stalls. Finn and Lewis bestow Mrs. Morgan the honour of opening the yard, but are disappointed at Mr. and Mrs. M's apparent lack of enthusiasm. The market sale is a success and Finn and Lewis toast a bright future, watched by an envious Tony.
Beth is up early for the postman but reluctant to open her GCSE results. Adam gives her a helping hand but Beth's fears are confirmed. Adam praises her for getting an 'A' in RE but Beth is dismayed at the remaining one 'B' and 5 'C's. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan spend the day bickering but try to be upbeat in front of Beth. As Mr. and Mrs. M continue to argue Adam decides to confronts his parents. Adam shocks them by accusing them of being selfish - today should be a happy day for Beth, but instead she is worrying about her parent's relationship. Adam asks them why they bother staying together if they are so unhappy being together.Plot
