Synopsis
Dodger begins on the quest to find his biological father. Ash confronts Martha over her behaviour. Joel issues Theresa an ultimatum, whilst Jacqui tries to get through to Myra.Plot
Will's article on injustice is published in a student magazine. Dirk calls Dodger his "son" again. Jacqui continues to worry about her mother's change in behaviour. Dirk rebrands the van "Savage & Son Merchants" and shows it to Dodger. Lacey admits to Ash and Callum that she caught their mother with a drink again last night. Ash confronts Martha at home.
Dodger finds a lighter from his mother that Dirk's thrown away. Etched onto the lighter is "For my husband Patrick" - he thinks Patrick might be his biological father, and can't work out why his van has been rebranded. Rob flirts with Theresa at Chez Chez. A devastated Ash pleads with her mother to stop drinking; Martha lashes out at her daughter. Joel finds Theresa at Chez Chez and upon learning what type of job Brendan gave her, fires her, so she goes and flirts with Rob. On the Archway, Myra and Jacqui free their emotions by shouting.
Joel and Theresa argue in Chez Chez. Dodger vandalises the van and smashes the windows and windscreen with a sledgehammer. Theresa takes Rob to a taxi. Joel warns her they're over if she gets in the taxi with him, so she gets in it and she and Rob are whisked away into town. Ash tells Martha she's selfish. Brendan explains to Joel he was trying to put money in a single mother's pocket. Rob returns Theresa to her flat and she invites him in for a drink. Upon their return home, Ash tells Callum and Lacey that Martha's gone.Cast
