Synopsis
Mercedes finds herself in grave danger. Tilly struggles to accept Jen's news. Ally tries to gain Ash's forgiveness.Plot
Doctor Browning insists Lynsey's death was an accident. Jacqui rings the police and then Riley. Doctor Browning explains himself to a terrified Mercedes. Ally gets the package to Walker. Walker wants Ally to befriend Brendan but Ally refuses to. Neil learns Tilly took £2000 from her education fund to pay for the flights. Tilly doesn't know what she's going to do now. Ash is frustrated that Ally stood her up. He tells her he's ill. Mercedes tries to escape Doctor Browning but he catches her and puts his hand over her mouth. Riley hears Jacqui's voicemail and races home to save Mercedes.
A flashback reveals Walker met with Lynsey before Doctor Browning. Jacqui and Riley can't find Mercedes at Doctor Browning's flat. Doctor Browning drives a gagged and bound Mercedes out of the village. Dodger, Tony, Rhys and Darren go on a night out. Jacqui and Riley follow the police as they search for Mercedes and Doctor Browning. Ash is understanding upon learning of Ally's PTSD. Walker tells Ally that he's wanted for identity fraud. Another flashback shows Walker hid from sight when Doctor Browning knocked on the door, and did nothing to help Lynsey when Doctor Browning strangled her to death.
Away from the village, Doctor Browning invites Mercedes to start afresh with him elsewhere. Tilly advertises the plane tickets in the hope someone will buy them off her. Doug and Leanne question Texas over Dodger, and Leanne then shows Texas Tilly's poster for the tickets to Australia. Tilly refuses to hear Jen out, instead telling her lover that she's going to inform the college of their relationship. Mercedes agrees to starting a new life with Doctor Browning and they try to flee, but the police block their escape and arrest Doctor Browning for Lynsey's murder.Cast
