Synopsis
Amy is left humiliated by her recent behaviour and decides that a change of scenery is what she needs. Tilly gets the wrong end of the stick when she finds Jen with Liam. Browning proves he's more than a match for Mercedes, whilst Leanne feels guilty when the deli is broken into after she leaves the door open.Plot
Ste pushes Amy off of him. Jen's chuffed to see her brother, Liam Gilmore, and texts Tilly that something's come up. Doug feels like he and Ste never get time alone. Leanne offers to close up the deli so that Doug can focus on his relationship. Jen catches up with Liam. Ste tells Doug that Amy made a pass at him and has run off. He rejects spending time in with Doug in favour of finding Amy. Doctor Browning treats Mercedes and the McQueens to fish and chips.
Diane sends Tilly on her way when she shows up to see Jen. Amy lashes out at Leanne and gives Ash a piece of her mind. Mercedes is uncomfortable at how well Doctor Browning's getting on with her family. Diane lets Liam stay and then tells Jen that she needs to make clear to Tilly that nothing will happen between them. Amy feels pathetic and too used to Ste. Tilly witnesses Jen drinking and wandering round the village with Liam and meets her at Chez Chez. Jen introduces Tilly to Liam and then sends her on her way.
Doug is horrified to find the deli door open and the interior trashed. Ste returns Amy home and Amy tells him about the full-time courses in Manchester. She wants to move to Manchester tomorrow before she loses her nerve and take the kids with her. Ste's taken aback by Amy's decision but, knowing what she needs, approves of the move. He tells Amy he loves her. Doctor Browning sleeps with Mercedes and then ditches her for his mates. Doug blames Leanne for the break-in.Cast
