Synopsis
Riley is left stunned by a visit to Mitzeee. Phoebe is disappointed when the McQueens forget her 16th birthday. Callum continues to worry about Martha, whilst Ash makes an unlikely friend.Plot
Riley ignores the landline, unaware it's Mitzeee calling. Martha's lost her job. Darren checks in on Riley. Callum tells Ash he's gone to counselling for teenagers whose parents drink, but no one knows. Ash brushes off Callum's concerns for their mother. Riley finds Mercedes at Doctor Browning's. Shayne tells Mitzeee that Riley's not interested in her. Mercedes is angry that Riley's asked Darren to babysit Bobby over her.
It's Phoebe's birthday but she feels like no one has remembered. Lacey convinces Phoebe that the McQueens are planning a surprise party for her. Ally follows Ash to the Folly and claims he's looking out for her. Cheryl gives Riley a tough talking to. Ash tells Ally about Will's alibi. Mitzeee attacks Shayne when she tries to convince her that Riley doesn't love her. Ally agrees to apologise to Will for Ash. Callum tries to support Martha. Riley tells the press he's resigning from the football club.
Phoebe's put out when party food which she thinks is for her is actually for Carmel, to help cheer her up. In her bedroom, she finds a parcel with a birthday present and card from George inside. Martha eyes up a bottle of alcohol but hides it when Callum shows up. Despite this, Callum sees the bottle stopper on the kitchen side. Riley visits Mitzeee and reveals he's quit football for her. He's crushed when Mitzeee goes cold towards him and ends things between them.Music
