Synopsis
Ash is disgusted to learn that Will videoed a woman for Silas on the night of Lynsey's murder. Carmel struggles as she prepares for a night out. Maddie is devastated when her father decides to leave the village, whilst Esther tells Tilly about Maddie's parents divorcing.Plot
Police descend on the village. Texas is in shock. Will thinks he may be off the hook. Maddie and her friends leave Abersoch. Texas pushes Dodger away. Doctor Browning comforts Mercedes. Esther tells Tilly she doesn't think Maddie is coping. Doctor Browning gifts Mercedes a necklace. When she talks about Lynsey, Doctor Browning tells her it sounds like she's making a confession. She asks him to take her to bed.
Will's devastated to learn from his barrister that the charges may not be dropped. Patrick hides a Dictaphone up his sleeve and asks Darren questions about Riley. Ash explodes at Will when he tries playing detective. She wants to know where Will was on the night Lynsey was murdered. Ed tells Maddie he's moving to London and she'll be staying with her mother. Will tells Ash he was tasked with stealing Lynsey's ring and meeting up with a woman by Silas. Tony offers Neil some pot washing shifts at College Coffee.
Ruby video calls Esther and the sixth formers. Unaware that Ruby's on the laptop, Neil blurts out that Jono kissed a girl in Abersoch. Ruby tells him they're over. Maddie tells Tilly she knows about her parents from Esther. Maddie puts on a front, insisting she's fine. Will shows Ash the video he took of the woman. Maddie's nasty about Ruby in front of Esther and once Esther's gone she tells the sixth formers about Esther kissing her. Riley's shocked when Patrick shows up on his doorstep revealing that his relationship with Mitzeee will be on the front page of tomorrow's newspaper. Will acknowledges he's disgusting. Ash tells him that the woman is the only one who can save him now.Cast
