Synopsis
Texas is left petrified to receive a phone call from Silas. Brendan is hellbent on making Cheryl leave the village. The McQueens struggle to convince Carmel to return home.Plot
Texas's story to The Chester Herald has made the front cover. A journalist attempts to interview the villagers. Texas admits to Dodger it was her who went to the press. Cheryl's informed Lynsey's parents of her demise and they're not coping. Brendan suggests they go back to Ireland to show their support, but Cheryl's against the idea. Doctor Browning breaks the news to Carmel that Lynsey's died. Carmel's devastated.
Mercedes plays up her emotions to Riley and, wanting him to herself, thinks Brendan and Cheryl should return home when the crime scene is cleared. Doug and Ste have conflicting advice for Ally. D.I. Small chastises Texas for going to the press. Riley has a conversation with Brendan about him and Cheryl moving out. Brendan agrees to moving out as he wants Cheryl in Ireland. Ste has to calm Brendan down when, in the middle of the village, he throws the journalist's Dictaphone. Ally and Dodger bond over their lady troubles at the Dog.
Ste looks after Cheryl whilst Brendan's with Joel; he hears her cries from outside her room and tries getting through to her. Carmel is given Tina's engagement ring. Kathleen-Angel cries when she sees Carmel. Cheryl packs her bags and heads to Ireland with Brendan. Texas apologises to Cheryl for her actions but Cheryl isn't very forgiving. Jacqui tries to reassure Carmel. Dodger makes amends with Texas. Texas falls to her knees when she receives a phone call from Silas.Cast
