Synopsis
Joel is left in danger. The walls are closing in for Walker. Mercedes worries when someone learns the truth. Carmel continues to struggle, and Brendan returns home to a horrific discovery.Plot
Gary and Sampson eye up Brendan's house and Chez Chez from the archway. Walker isn't best pleased by Lynsey's presence. Mitzeee's made the front page. Riley snaps at Lynsey in Price Slice. Ash makes clear to Will she won't be interested in him until he's sorted things out with Barney. Brendan questions Ally over Walker; Ally's unimpressed that Lynsey's been talking. Gary and Sampson kidnap Joel. Lynsey finds a photograph with Mitzeee's face scribbled out under Mercedes' bed. Riley invites Mercedes to live with him and Bobby until she's back on her feet.
Walker gives Lynsey a stern warning. At an industrial park, Sampson puts Joel's thumb on the safety catch of a grenade and removes the pin before locking him in the back of a van. Lynsey presents the photograph to Mercedes but Mercedes plays dumb. Doctor Browning watches the ladies arguing from outside of Mercedes' room and questions Lynsey about it afterwards. She tells him he and Mercedes are suited to each other but he doesn't stand a chance. Sampson phones Brendan and tells him where Joel is. Mercedes asks Doctor Browning to discharge her. Brendan saves Joel and discovers the grenade is fake. Lynsey invites Carmel on holiday with her but Carmel suggests she invites Mercedes.
Doctor Browning drives Mercedes back to the village, where she then brushes him away to search for Lynsey. Ste tells Ally that he or Lynsey will tell Amy what he's been up to if he doesn't tell her himself. Ally's adamant no one will say a word. Lynsey sends Cheryl to the shops as she gets searching for a holiday for them. Brendan returns to Chez Chez to find money stolen from the safe of the office. Joel's had enough of Brendan and cries. Brendan heads home and finds Lynsey on the sofa. He asks her if she's seen Cheryl but gets no response, so he checks in on her and discovers that she's dead.Cast
