Synopsis
After Mercedes fabricates her version of events, Mitzeee is arrested for attempted murder. Meanwhile, Callum tires of having to pull the family together.Plot
Mitzeee is horrified when she wakes, to find Mercedes with a stab wound and the bloody knife on the floor. Riley and Lynsey walk on Mitzeee holding a tea towel over her wound, getting blood on her hands which she wipes on her clothes. Mercedes loses consciousness. A confused Mitzeee leaves the flat and asks for Brendan's help. She says that she doesn't remember what happened. Mercedes is taken to hospital. D.I. Parker questions Riley and Lynsey. Lynsey tells her that Mitzeee was also in the flat. Brendan lies to the officers that he does not know of Mitzeee's whereabouts. Mitzeee tells Brendan what she remembers after waking up. He prepares to meet her down the back road at midnight. Neil refuses to buy Lacey any more alcohol. He offers to take her home. Michaela and Jacqui receive a visit from the police. Lynsey and Riley argue over Mitzeee's innocence.
Martha is amused to learn that Lacey is drunk, and invites Neil to stay longer. Lacey is embarrassed when Martha invites Neil to stay over and flirts with him, and quickly gets rid of him. Mitzeee watches through the door as everyone watches over an unconscious Mercedes. She sneaks into the room after everyone leaves, and apologises to Mercedes. She begs for Mercedes to wake up, and is interrupted by Jacqui. Mitzeee manages to flee when Mercedes wakes. Neil accidentally reveals his lie to Callum. Callum is angry when Neil speaks highly of his mother's inappropriate actions. Mercedes refuses to speak to the police. Callum attacks Neil and is separated by Rob and Ash. Rob gets a call about Mercedes. Riley is unable to find Mitzeee. Ash explodes at Callum. He is angry that he is having to keep the family together. Mercedes fabricates a story to Riley, Lynsey and Jacqui. Lynsey tells Brendan what Mercedes has told her. Lynsey worries that Mitzeee may be a danger to herself. Mitzeee gets into Brendan's car, and refuses to help her escape. D.I. Parker takes Mitzeee out of the car and she is arrested.Cast
