Synopsis
After revealing herself to be the stalker, Mercedes knocks Mitzeee unconscious during a fight, before stabbing herself to frame Mitzeee. Meanwhile, Lacey enjoys winding her family up when they are too busy with their own problems to care about her.Plot
Mitzeee is horrified to see the wall of photographs and articles of herself, and starts taking them down. Mercedes takes a photograph of Mitzeee, Riley and Bobby out of her bag. Mitzeee places the picture back on the wall. Mercedes scribbles over Mitzeee in the photograph. Mitzeee takes more of her pills and pretends to be fine to Riley. Lacey tries to wind Callum up, to no avail. Nancy begs for Mitzeee to join her at book club, and Riley convinces her to go. Callum remembers what Lacey said about going out, and takes his keys before leaving. Cheryl is surprised when Nancy doesn't care that she, Lynsey nor Cindy have actually read the book, and is fine with just drinking instead of talking about books. Lynsey is uncomfortable about facing Mitzeee. Mitzeee takes more of her pills before entering The Dog in the Pond. Mercedes subtly tries to make Mitzeee concerned about going public about her relationship with Riley. Mitzeee struggles to cope when she hears the girls laughing loudly. She becomes paranoid that everyone is laughing at her, and reveals that she is being stalked. She immediately suspects Lynsey. Mercedes lets herself into the flat and smirks.
Mercedes ruins the flowers by ripping off petals and buds and throwing them into the bin. Darren taunts Riley after beating him in a football video game. Mercedes finds a pill bottle in Mitzeee's drawers. Mitzeee continues to be suspicious of Lynsey. Cindy makes a throwaway comment, which Lynsey uses to taunt Mitzeee. She outrightly accuses Lynsey and Riley, witnessing this, has to take Mitzeee home. Neil lies to Callum that he hasn't seen Lacey. Riley is unnerved to learn of the stalker. He ends up finding her pills. He thinks that she is just paranoid and comforts her, encouraging her to go to bed. Nancy wants to go to see Mitzeee, but Darren refuses. Lynsey decides to go instead. Mitzeee receives a nuisance call and notices the flowers. Callum ignores a call from Martha. Mitzeee continues to receive nuisance calls.
Lynsey bumps into Mercedes at the phone box. She decides to accompany Lynsey to see Mitzeee. Mitzeee fights temptation, but eventually gives in and takes the pills. She answers the door, brandishing a knife, to Lynsey and Mercedes. She explodes at them, and accuses Mercedes of being the stalker. Mercedes tells Lynsey to get Riley, and winds up Mitzeee after Lynsey has left. Riley misses a call from Lynsey. Mercedes continues to taunt Mitzeee, confessing to being the stalker and pointing out that she has no evidence. Mercedes pokes Mitzeee, and Mitzeee attacks Mercedes. Mercedes disarms Mitzeee and knocks her to the floor, before knocking Mitzeee unconscious by hitting her in the head with a wine bottle. Mercedes then grabs the knife, hesitates, and then stabs herself.Cast
