Synopsis
Doug and Riley's friendship is placed under strain. Lynsey tries her hardest and is able to get through to Mercedes. Dodger's womanising behaviours push Will to breaking point.Plot
Mercedes has spent the night at 2 Oakdale Drive. Doug ignores Leanne and Texas. Annalise isn't impressed to find Dirk asleep in his boxers in the hallway. Mercedes refuses to tell her family about yesterday's events. Texas's attempt at talking to Riley in Price Slice results in Dennis and Liberty learning of Doug's sexuality. Brendan tells Ste he'll be keeping an eye on him. Leanne manages to get Doug to go to the SU Bar with her, leaving Texas in the flat alone to work with Dennis to help get Doug and Riley's friendship back on track.
A miserable Will snaps at Ash. Lynsey confronts Dr. Browning over taking advantage of Mercedes, but he insists he's the only one who understands her. Riley attacks Mercedes in public over her recent behaviour and insists she'll never see Bobby again. Will makes amends with Ash. Mercedes confronts Lynsey. Dennis creates an excuse to get Riley over to the flat. Mercedes gets drinking at Chez Chez. Lynsey visits Riley over what he's said to Mercedes, acknowledging she got things wrong. She then hunts down Mercedes and offers to let her crash at hers again, but Mercedes isn't interested, so Lynsey writes her a note.
Leanne gives Doug words of advice at the SU Bar and then takes him back home, where Riley is. On the wall are a number of pictures of Doug and Riley. Riley apologises to Doug for yesterday and they make up. Will gets his family to tidy up the halls of residence flat so that Annalise will continue to let them stay. Mercedes reads Lynsey's note. She's told by Brendan that some people do care and she should go home. Annalise is pleasantly surprised by the tidiness of the flat upon her return. An insecure Will is pushed breaking point when a womanising Dodger moves in on Ash. Riley visits Lynsey to apologise but she quickly sends him on his way as Mercedes is staying the night. Mercedes asks Lynsey who was at the door; she lies and claims it was Brendan.Cast
