Synopsis
Bart is horrified to return home and find his family being led out of the house in handcuffs! Callum wants to study in America, but is too stubborn to ask his father for money. Carmel is stunned to be asked out on a date by Ed Morrison, whilst Brendan assures Cheryl that his past is behind him.Plot
Bart waters the cannabis in the loft. Joel's uneasy upon having a flashback of himself being stabbed. Myra's bought knock off baby gear for Bobby. Martha has a big meeting at work. Cheryl maintains she'll be telling Joel the truth. Sinead has an exam. Jen wants a meeting with Bart, while Mr. Sykes wants a word with Callum. Carmel has her eye on a guy she catches working out at the gym. She finds his name out using the computer system. Jen thinks Bart should consider art college as his coursework is great. Callum tells Mr. Sykes he wants to go and study in America after finishing college.
With Cheryl present, Brendan tells Joel the truth about the stabbing. Joel's shattered. Lacey bumps into Martha leaving the Dog. With Lacey off to see her father in Saudi Arabia, Martha takes her shopping. Cheryl doesn't tell the probation officer the full story. Brendan promises what happened to Joel won't happen again. Theresa introduces Carmel and Ed to one another at the gym. Brendan tells Joel they're going to tell Cheryl they're keeping their noses clean, despite them now officially becoming partners. Callum's reluctant to ask his father for any money towards studying in America, instead using money that he's been given from his grandpa and a job in America to support himself.
Martha hides a number of unopened letters in the cutlery drawer at home upon returning from shopping with Lacey. Jen hands Bart some expensive art books to look through. Myra considers converting the loft of 26 Leigh Road so that the children can have their own room up there. Martha feels rough, and when asked by Callum what's wrong tells him she thinks she's coming down with something. A police officer shows up at the McQueens with a warrant, as they have reason to believe they're operating a cannabis farm. Bart helplessly watches on as his family are arrested and led away.Cast
