Synopsis
Esther takes a big risk to make amends with Tilly. Ste is left with a decision after Doug's confession. George tries to coax Phoebe into making new friends, whilst Cindy is annoyed when she mixes up Tony and Alistair's birthdays.Plot
Lacey watches Phoebe steal a tip from a table outside College Coffee. Tilly writes her thoughts and feelings down. Cindy senses something's up between Doug and Ste and suggests they kiss and make up, but before they can discuss yesterday Amy interrupts to let Ste know that Adam is at the deli. Tilly's distressed upon learning from Sinead that there's a photoshopped image of her and Jen circulating on social media. George falls out with Phoebe when he learns from Lacey that she's been stealing tips.
Maddie supports a downbeat Tilly. Amy tells Doug she's pleased that Ste's found someone who's made him happy. Maddie asks Ruby and Esther if either of them know who started the rumours about Tilly and Jen, to which both girls claim they have no idea. Whilst having a drink together, Adam asks Ste why he cancelled their date yesterday. Thinking there is someone else, Adam decides to leave. George texts Phoebe asking her to come back. Esther gives Tilly the photograph she got of her and Jen. Cindy's planned birthday surprise for Tony goes awry when he finds Doug in his flat. Cindy's embarrassed to then realise she's gotten Tony and Alistair's birthdays mixed up.
When the band at College Coffee finish their performance to the sixth formers, Esther takes the microphone and tells everyone she lied about Tilly and Jen. Adam returns to the village having left his coat at the Dog. He tells Ste it's obvious there's something going on between him and Doug. When Ste asks why he's so sure about that, Adam says it's because he's asking him about the man he can't get out of his head. Cindy has some explaining to do to Tony about how she's afforded their romantic date. Ste visits Doug to tell him how he feels, but Doug floors him by telling him they'd be crazy to let what he said yesterday ruin their working relationship; he just wants them to be friends.Cast
