Synopsis
It's the open day for Hollyoaks Sixth Form College; Lacey finds herself attracted to a student, whilst Maddie feels that Ruby is a threat to her title. Esther is horrified to learn of Tilly and Jen's secret, whilst Doug tells Ste of his feelings.Plot
Maddie takes Phoebe, Lacey, Ruby, Esther and Dylan on a tour around the sixth form. Ste's still acting off with Doug. Tilly and Jen flirt in the art classroom. Maddie introduces her group of students to George, who gives a speech on fashion and textiles. They complete a fashion activity and George hails Ruby and Esther as style sixth form queens. Next is the art department, with Jen leading the session. Maddie's unamused when Esther and Ruby laugh at one of the paintings. Doug seeks help from Texas in taking food back to the sixth form from the deli. Maddie invites Tilly to a gig tomorrow in front of Ruby. When Ruby asks Maddie about the gig Maddie tells her the details are on her social media profile, but Ruby isn't friends with Maddie.
Esther's stunned when she takes a photograph on her Polaroid of Jen and Tilly brushing hands with one another. Texas thinks Doug is jealous that Ste's found someone but encourages him to wait until he finds his right person. In the toilets, Lacey overhears Esther talking to Ruby about Jen and Tilly. The news spreads around the sixth form like a wildfire and Jen soon gets wind of it. She's quick to accuse Tilly of telling people about them but Tilly insists she's not told anyone. Maddie's surprised when Ruby comments on Jen and Tilly to her and advises her not to spread rumours. Maddie informs Tilly that Ruby knows about her and Jen. Diane makes a joke with Jen about Tilly and encourages her not to listen to the gossip.
Phoebe and Lacey clash in the common room. Lacey likes Dylan and wants to ask for his number, but he can't hear her as he's deaf. Tilly confronts Ruby over the rumours and is comforted by Ruby as she starts to cry. Ste surprises Doug with a framed photograph of them together outside the deli on opening day. He hangs up a black and white photograph on the wall and then upsets Doug when he says he's heading off to have a meal with Adam. As they argue again, Doug tells Ste that Adam doesn't love him. When Ste sarcastically asks Doug if he loves him, Doug is unable to answer him and walks off. Maddie's deeply unhappy to see Ruby comforting Tilly.Cast
