Synopsis
Rhys and Jacqui worry about Phoebe after learning that her mother is a prostitute. With Brendan out of the way, Joel decides to carry out his club night plans. Doug helps Ste with his online dating profile, whilst Ally and Amy's date doesn't go to plan.Plot
Rhys isn't sure if he should believe Phoebe, but Phoebe insists she's telling the truth. Jacqui and Mercedes show up at Mel's. Jacqui questions Mel on what happened between her and Phoebe before she stormed off and refuses to leave until Phoebe's back. Rhys does his best to convince Phoebe to go back to her mum's. Ally and Amy go on a date. George can't help but worry about Phoebe. Mercedes finds Mel's business card and shows it to Jacqui. Jacqui can't believe what Mel does and wonders if Phoebe's ever come to harm whilst in Mel's care.
George finds Phoebe and Rhys at the folly and, with Rhys, they manage to get Phoebe to listen to them. Brendan reveals to Joel he's going to Barcelona for a couple of nights and Cheryl's away with college, leaving Joel in charge. Phoebe finally returns to Mel and Mel sends Jacqui, Mercedes and Rhys on their way. Doug finds Ste on an online dating website and offers to help him set up his profile. Once the social workers leave Mel, Jacqui, Mercedes and Rhys return. Ste decides he's going to find Doug the perfect girl and sets him up for online dating. Rhys suggests to Mel that Phoebe lives with him and Jacqui but shows up at Mel's as and when the social workers visit. Mel rejects the idea so Mercedes intervenes and asks to speak to Mel alone.
The sexual chemistry between Ally and Amy is evident as they kiss outside the Dog. Mercedes encourages Mel to let Phoebe live with Jacqui and Rhys so that they can give her security and stop her following in her footsteps. Doug and Ste get along well as Ste finishes setting up Doug's online profile. Phoebe returns to the village with Jacqui, Mercedes and Rhys. Jacqui and Rhys thank Mercedes for what she's done. Phoebe apologises to George and Tilly. Brendan leaves for Barcelona. Joel tells Bart the party's being brought forward to tomorrow.Cast
