Synopsis
Ally and Amy are annoyed when Ste ruins their evening together. Phoebe's mother, Mel, shows up at Rhys and Jacqui's to take Phoebe home. George secretly arranges for Callum and Maddie to meet, Bart finds himself inspired by Joel, and Tilly is annoyed with Jen's mixed messages.Plot
Sinead has a go at Phoebe but Jacqui intervenes. Joel hopes to talk over some ideas with Brendan but Brendan has to take a phone call. Amy's doing a welcome home lunch for Ally. When Phoebe's rude to Tilly, George tells her that until she apologises to his friend he'll be taking a break from her. Jen bumps into Tilly at the college and they're friendly to one another. Tilly gets the wrong impression when Jen tells her that she'll "see her later". Ste eats some of the food Amy's made for Ally. Ally shows up an hour late. Jodie asks Joel if there's any jobs going at Chez Chez but he says there isn't.
Brendan rejects Joel's ideas for the club. Mel shows up at Jacqui's wanting her daughter back. Bart wants to be a VJ. George can't understand why Callum won't just apologise to Maddie. Ste won't give Ally and Amy any alone time. Mel insists she wants to turn both her and her daughter's life around. Mercedes catches Phoebe considering stealing from a woman in the village and stops her. Ste tries to vet Ally's intentions, irritating him and Amy. Jen's unimpressed when Tilly shows up at Sinead's house to see her. When Sinead walks in on them, Jen claims Tilly was waiting for her so they could discuss an assignment.
Mercedes hands Phoebe £10 and suggests she buys Jacqui something nice, telling Jacqui that she gave her the money. Phoebe steals flowers from the flower stall. Jacqui isn't convinced by Mel. George secretly arranges for Callum and Maddie to meet. Bart gets chatting to Joel at the SU Bar. Callum apologises to Maddie. Tilly's frustrated by Jen's mixed messages. Bart and Joel go into business together to put on a club night. Jacqui insists Phoebe will be staying with her, so Mel threatens to phone the police. Jacqui reluctantly accepts there's nothing she can do and lets Mel have Phoebe back. Phoebe returns to the flat with flowers for Jacqui but instantly leaves when she comes face-to-face with her mother.Cast
