Synopsis[]
Joel is forced to choose between his life and his loyalty to Brendan. Barney learns some secrets of Scott's. Maddie is desperate to avoid being alone with Callum, whilst Riley is angry with both Mitzeee and Mercedes.
Plot[]
Scott's pleased to see Barney. Riley's angry with both Mitzeee and Mercedes. Whilst Scott's out getting them food, Barney has a look around the house. He comes across a pot with money inside and is punched by Scott's nan when she catches him with the money. Scott has an uncomfortable encounter with a lad called Mitchell whilst out. Maddie refuses to be left alone with Callum. Joel tries taking the money from Dave but is unsuccessful. He's restrained by the heavies and punched. Scott introduces Barney to his nan upon his return from the chip shop.
Lynsey's wound up by a chauvinistic remark from Riley whilst helping Ste and Doug out with the decorating. Doug makes Riley apologise to Lynsey. Scott's nan gets Barney to take Scott to the local boxing club. Joel returns to Brendan without the money. He hides a nasty bruise. Maddie gets Tilly to sit between her and Callum during the film. Scott's visibly nervous walking around London with Barney and avoids some men in the streets. The electrics go at Doug and Ste's deli and they can't afford an electrician. Scott tells Barney his nan signed him and his old best friend, Mitchell, up to boxing lessons to try and keep them out of trouble. Brendan tells Joel he'll find him another little job soon.
Tilly offers to take over as organiser of an event for College Coffee on Friday when the original organiser drops out. Callum's annoyed with Maddie when she accuses him of trying to take her back to his during the film. Scott tells Barney he and Mitchell used to steal bikes; at the end of the summer they were meant to steal laptops but Scott backed out after accepting his offer at Hollyoaks Community College. Mitchell went ahead with the robbery but was caught. Doug manages to get the electrics working again. Ste hugs Doug. Doug's mood quickly changes and he walks out. Brendan meets with Dave and pays him, having hired him to test Joel's loyalty.
