Synopsis
Doug regrets his decision when he is attacked. Joel takes drastic action when he feels pushed out by Brendan. Mercedes threatens to ruin Mitzeee's plans for Riley's surprise birthday party.Plot
Mitzeee gifts Riley a photograph of him, her and Bobby for his birthday. Joel proposes a happy hour for the college students on a Wednesday afternoon at Chez Chez. Ste begs Tony not to bid for Cincerity. Mercedes gives Riley a birthday card. He avoids small talk with her. Mitzeee plans a surprise birthday party for Riley; Bart, Neil and Tilly offer to help. Mercedes isn't pleased to see Bart with Mitzeee. Brendan tells Doug to await information on his dealing. Joel hears their conversation.
Lynsey and Riley work out together at the gym. Bart offers to do a mural for Riley's birthday. Mitzeee tells Mercedes she won't be working at Riley's birthday party tomorrow. Brendan gives Doug a package and a note; he makes Doug eat the note after reading it. Bart walks in on Mercedes preparing to burn Riley's party invites. Doug's attacked and has the package stolen from him by a balaclava-clad figure. Brendan catches Ste snooping around Tony's flat for confirmation of how much he'll be bidding. Brendan tries convincing Ste to let him help out but Ste stands his ground. Bart talks sense into Mercedes.
Lynsey hands Riley a birthday card and receives a formal apology from him for all the months he didn't believe her about Silas. She gives him a birthday kiss. Brendan finds out that Doug failed to deliver. He pins Doug to a wall when Doug suggests he was set-up. Brendan lets Doug have the money after forcing him to sign a contract, and then reminds him that he still owes him. At 2 Oakdale Drive, Joel takes off his balaclava and holds the package meant for Doug. Upon opening it, he finds out that it's a pair of Declan's socks. Doug tells Ste he's got them the money to bid on Cincerity. Ste's overjoyed.Cast
