Synopsis
Tension runs high on the day of the business competition. Callum and Maddie worry for George. Scott tries to help Rob get over Annalise.Plot
George and Phoebe have slept rough. Annalise gets all dressed up for the business pitch. Phoebe thinks Deena and Graham drugged her with roofies. George encourages her to go with him back to Callum's. Annalise, Doug, Ste and Cheryl arrive at college to give their presentations to the judges. Annalise takes a dishevelled Cheryl to the toilets to tidy her up. Maddie avoids Callum. George and Phoebe return to the village. George runs up to Callum and hugs him tightly.
George is speechless when Callum admits the sixth formers know everything. Rob acts unphased when he finds out Annalise has phoned Scott to see if he'll get some stuff for her for the competition. Maddie shows up at Callum's and is pleased to see George, but he's not in the same high spirits as her. Rob eyes up photos of him and Annalise; he also forgets his mother's birthday. A supportive Maddie tells George he's even more fabulous than before. The pitches are given to the judges. George and Phoebe settle on moving to Glasgow to squat. Scott offers to buy Rob lunch to cheer him up.
The pitch competition results are in: Annalise wins runner-up and Cheryl second place. Doug and Ste miss out on an award and aren't happy. They think it's because they upset Tony yesterday but he reassures them it wasn't and he actually wanted them to win. He suggests they come up with something more original. Maddie wants to know what happened to George whilst he was away. Rob and Scott play poker at the SU Bar, Rob turns it into strip poker when Annalise shows up at the venue in the hopes of making her jealous. Maddie tries talking George out of sleeping rough any longer but ends up pushing him away. She's determined to figure out what's stopping George from going back home.Cast
