Synopsis
A terrified George tries to make a desperate escape. Annalise and Rob put on brave faces following their split. Cheryl finds herself under pressure when her college class is asked to enter a business competition. Ste and Doug learn that they have both entered the same contest.Plot
Annalise is apathetic, unlike the other freshers, who are upbeat. Barney questions Rob upon learning that he and Annalise have split up. Deena's arranged for a visitor for George and a separate visitor for Phoebe. Tony informs Doug and Ste of a lecture he's giving to the business and PR students at the college; they're being asked to enter a 24-hour business proposal competition, and there's a cash prize for the best pitch. Tony is also on the judging panel!
Rob doesn't know where he's going to live. Ste isn't sure he and Doug should enter the competition because they insulted Tony, but Doug doesn't think it should stop them. Deena takes Phoebe to her visitor. Ste has a go at the business proposal but his spelling leaves Doug unimpressed. Ste storms off and Amy comments to Doug that Ste didn't stick around school for long and is also dyslexic. Rob asks Scott to have a word with Annalise. Phoebe injures the visitor so Deena takes Thunder from her. Doug apologises to Ste. They agree on Doug filling out the forms and Ste making the pizzas.
Tony gives his lecture to the students, including Annalise and Cheryl. George can't get a word out of Phoebe. Cheryl's lecturer has words with her: she thinks Cheryl's taking on too much and admits she'll have to recommend that she leaves the course if she fails her next assignment. Scott talks with Annalise. Phoebe can't understand why George is being nice to her. Annalise returns Rob's belongings to him. Ash makes sure Annalise is alright. George hopes to work out an exit plan for him and Phoebe, although he's stopped in his tracks when Phoebe collapses and loses consciousness.Music
