Synopsis

Brendan makes Joel an offer which could see him stay in the village. Moving day for the Kanes proves stressful for some and a breeze of a day for others. Theresa panics when she leaves Kathleen-Angel in the care of Mercedes and they both go AWOL.

Plot

Brendan reviews CCTV footage of the fight between Joel and Will. Mitzeee ignores Joel. Martha finishes packing ready for the move. Joel tells Mitzeee he'll start looking for somewhere else to stay. Theresa's heading to the job centre and needs someone to look after Kathleen-Angel. Mercedes turns down an offer of drinks with Ally. Martha disappears. Callum notes she did this last time they moved. Cheryl suggests to Theresa she trusts Mercedes and asks her to look after Kathleen-Angel. Doug tells Tony they need a promotional event for College Coffee. Mercedes agrees to look after Kathleen-Angel. George asks Ash to help Callum with the house move.

Ste creates a Twitter account, posing as Doug and promoting an offer at College Coffee. Ash and Will show up in a van to help Callum move. Theresa can't find Mercedes or Kathleen-Angel at home. Doug tries clearing the air with Ste. Tony's unimpressed when he returns to College Coffee and discovers a "YankeeDoodleDoug" has Tweeted a promotional offer. Joel takes Brendan up on the offer of selling his share of the club but Brendan refuses to accept it and wants to take Joel on as an apprentice instead. Ally offers Mercedes another chance of drink at the pub. She accepts the offer this time and takes Kathleen-Angel into the pub with her, leaving the pram unattended outside.

Brendan sees potential in Joel and asks him if he'll let him teach him. Callum suggests to George he moves into Lacey's bedroom as he doesn't think she'll ever be around. He comments on how George isn't in a squat anymore, which Ash overhears and questions. Michaela brands Mercedes a skank when she finds her with Ally. The pram goes missing from outside the pub. Jacqui lambastes Mercedes for her recent behaviour and tells her she's on her own. Cheryl and Mitzeee are both speechless when Joel announces he won't be leaving and Brendan's going to train him up.
