Synopsis
Cindy is given some home truths by Darren. Neil finally admits the truth about his driving test result, infuriating Bart. Cheryl lets Lynsey down, so Brendan steps in to help prepare Lynsey for her interview.Plot
Darren pushes Cindy away. She runs out of the shop. Darren tries going after her but is stopped by the shop worker. Bart, Neil, Sinead, Maddie and Jono are alright. Nancy's upset over the bra. Dodger pays for the wedding dress so Darren can leave the shop. He then offers to find Darren a reception venue. Nancy catches Darren when he's back in the village and questions him on the bra. He claims he found on the floor in the bathroom and forgot to take it out of his pocket. Bart tells Neil he's not mad at him.
Darren heads to Cindy's. She lets him in. Neil admits he failed his driving test. Darren's shocked to notice the wedding dress is stained. Cindy tells Darren she's made a terrible mistake and should have said yes to him when he proposed to her. She tries convincing Darren he loves her still but he insists she's wrong and needs to let him go. Bart's enraged to discover Neil also slashed his tyres. Neil's ousted by the group and has to walk back to the village alone. Brendan helps Lynsey prepare for her interview when Cheryl lets her down. Dodger bags Chez Chez as the reception venue.
Cindy kisses Darren on the cheek as he leaves. They're both unaware that Nancy's spotted them. Lynsey impresses Brendan with her interview responses. Darren's unimpressed that Chez Chez is Dodger's chosen venue, until he learns that Dodger bagged him it for free. Bart, Maddie, Jono and Sinead return to the village together, closely followed by Neil. A hurt Neil explains how he only felt worth something to the group when he told them he had a driving licence. Darren returns home and is asked by Nancy where he's been. He lies of his whereabouts and won't tell Margaret what he's got hidden in his bag.Cast
