Synopsis
Margaret's convinced that Darren is not meant for Nancy and sets about breaking them up. Jono persuades Ruby to keep their relationship a secret. Darren has his stag do at Chez Chez. Mitzeee pulls off Nancy's undercover hen do.Plot
Margaret's cold towards Darren, who has made a special effort to dress up for breakfast. Mitzeee tells Nancy to invite Margaret to their "hen-themed book club" meeting tonight. Cindy plans to attend the undercover hen do. Darren feels Nancy should be ashamed of him for not knowing about Becca. Margaret wants Nancy and Charlie to move out to Canada with her, but Nancy doesn't want to go. Rhys thinks Darren can pull off the perfect day for Nancy so that she has some positive memories of such a sombre day.
Margaret's wary when Ruby makes a passing comment about how she thinks Darren was in prison once. Jono and Ruby have a romantic evening together. Nancy's joined by Frankie, Mitzeee, Cheryl, Cindy, Lynsey, Texas and Margaret for her undercover hen do. Meanwhile, at Chez Chez, Darren's stag do gets underway. Nancy and Cindy do a quiz on how well they know Darren; Margaret notices that Cindy knows Darren very well, unlike her daughter. Nancy questions whether she should be with Darren at all. Jono convinces Ruby to keep their relationship secret for a while.
Cindy tells Margaret why Darren was sent to prison. Rhys tires of Darren wallowing in self-pity and quickly snaps him out of his mood. Nancy's tearful. Frankie thinks it's time she proved her mum wrong. Darren asks Rhys to be his best man, which Rhys agrees to. Nancy stands up to her mother and insists she and Darren will set a date for the wedding tomorrow. Margaret's shown up when all of the ladies at the hen do think Darren is the type to commit to Nancy. Margaret's quick to leave, where she finds Cindy outside. They share a drink as Margaret tells Cindy she doesn't think the engagement will last.Cast
