Synopsis
It's the day of Neil's driving test, but will he pass or fail? Ruby skips school to spend time with Jono. Callum and George go hunting for Phoebe. Ally's tired of Jacqui and Rhys bickering, so considers moving out.Plot
George phones Callum from a phone box. Bart and Jono look forward to Neil passing his driving test. Ruby skives school for Jono. Esther reluctantly agrees to cover for her. Jono keeps up his lie about "Rebecca". Callum meets George. George explains that Phoebe's missing and they need to find her. Rhys and Jacqui bicker, irritating Ally, who thinks it's time for him to move out. Jono tells Ruby he's busy with college work and can't see her today, but will make it up to her tomorrow.
Callum and George's search for Phoebe proves fruitless. Neil takes his driving test and is examined by Jen. Callum wants George to phone the police about Phoebe. George finds a friendship bracelet at the location where they were sleeping rough and is convinced she's left it as a sign that she's safe. Callum wants George to stay with him properly. Jacqui thinks she and Rhys can change Ally's mind with an incentive. Neil fails his driving test. Ruby tells Esther that she and Jono are now boyfriend and girlfriend. She's bought him his favourite DVD. Tilly invites Esther to Neil's car party. Esther invites Ruby along. Neil tells his friends he's passed his test.
Jacqui tells Ally that they were going to give him a 10% reduction in rent; Ally's mind is quickly changed. Neil keeps up his lie. His friends want him to take them for a drive but he uses his alcohol consumption as an excuse to get out of it. Callum and George get their stories straight about why George is living with Callum. Maddie notices that as soon as George rocks up, Callum puts him before her. Ruby and Esther join in on Neil's car party. Ruby hands Jono his present and declares to the group they're together. She's heartbroken and runs off crying when Maddie points out Jono's told them all his girlfriend is called "Rebecca" and Jono goes along with it, mocking her in the process.Cast
