Synopsis
George hides his latest plight from Callum. Rhys and Jacqui agree to rent the spare room out to a lodger. Rhys is only willing to consider a female. A grand gesture from Ruby backfires on her. Neil's driving has plenty of room for improvement...Plot
George and Phoebe have slept outside a shop entrance. Jacqui leaves Rhys a note to pay the electricity bill. Phoebe creates a sign claiming she needs money for her and her baby. George plans to ask Frankie for an advance on his wages. Neil drives Tony's car erratically. Jono apologises to Ruby for the other night. Maddie alienates Ruby from her friendship group. Rhys suggests to Jacqui they get a lodger. Jacqui's open to the idea.
Maddie and Tilly pick up on George's dishevelled look. They think he has a new man. Ruby overhears Jono telling George he'd pay for him to have a Technoville festival ticket but is skint from buying his own. George is nasty to Maddie when she remarks on what he's wearing. Neil scrapes Tony's car when he's distracted by a woman whilst reversing. Jacqui comes across a tenant who tells her that Rhys is only looking for female lodgers. Ruby begs Darren for Technoville tickets. He agrees to buy her some.
Frankie won't give George an advance on his wages. Callum tries defending George to Maddie without letting on what he knows. Maddie's thrilled when Ruby hands over two tickets she's bagged for Technoville. Ruby's disheartened when Maddie outrightly states that both George and Tilly can go to the festival with the tickets. Jacqui's aware that Rhys doesn't want a man to move in because of her rape ordeal. She says they need to move on but agrees that they should go for a female lodger. George ignores Callum, who phones him and leaves a voicemail reminding him that he's here for him.Cast
