Synopsis
Mercedes blackmails Doctor Browning in the hopes of helping Lynsey get her old job back. Darren comes clean to Nancy about his night out. Esther, Tilly, George, Callum and Maddie head to a gay nightclub. George gets a fright when he returns to his squat.Plot
Darren's hesitant about putting down a bet; by the time he's made his mind up he's not allowed to put his chips down. Mercedes and Doctor Browning don't do anything at the hotel. Rhys visits a downbeat Darren in the morning. Neil begs Tony to give him more lessons. Darren didn't end up betting. Tilly and Maddie plan a trip to a gay nightclub in the evening. Tilly invites Esther along. Mercedes informs Lynsey of Doctor Browning's mistake, but it doesn't make Lynsey feel any better.
Darren decides to call the wedding off and come clean to Nancy. George and Callum join Maddie, Tilly and Esther at the nightclub. Mercedes resorts to blackmailing Doctor Browning after finding out he has a family. Tilly kisses Esther at the nightclub but Esther pushes her away. Mercedes reassures Lynsey she won't be taking flack for the mistake. Callum's the centre of attention at the gay nightclub! Tilly apologises to Esther and offers to walk her home. Maddie catches the pair leaving. Darren tells Nancy about his outing at the casino.
Mercedes defaces Doctor Browning's white coats. Doctor Browning wants Mercedes to spend the night with him for his silence and her job. She refuses to. Tony tells Neil to meet him at 7am for his first intensive driving lesson with him. Nancy reassures Darren he hasn't messed anything up. She's proud of him for resisting the urge to gamble and opening up to her. Esther encourages Tilly to start making her own decisions in life and stop worrying about everyone else. George finds the door to his squat unlocked. Mercedes packs in the cleaning job. George finds two squatters trashing his room and is left frightened by them.Cast
