Synopsis
Darren finds himself in danger of falling back into old habits when Brendan invites him to a brewery promotion event night at a casino. Neil has a driving lesson in Tony's car but almost runs Rhys over. Tilly's devastated when she underperforms in her biology presentation.Plot
Tilly prepares for a biology presentation she has today. Neil's driving test is on Friday. Darren considers a wedding day loan. Lynsey avoids Mercedes. Tilly hosts her presentation to the teacher, but she makes a mistake on one of the slides. Brendan invites Darren to a brewery promotion event happening in the evening. Tilly's awarded a B grade. She's upset because she needs A*s to get into Cambridge. Maddie consoles her.
Darren's taken aback to discover the promotion event is at a casino and makes an excuse to get out of going. Lynsey fills Mercedes in on what she did wrong. Neil likes the look of Tony's car. Darren changes his mind about the casino and heads off with Brendan. Rhys thinks it's a bad idea. Tony ends up giving Neil a driving lesson in his car. Tilly's left questioning what she wants out of her life as she talks with Maddie. Brendan hands Darren some chips to gamble with.
Mercedes discovers that Doctor Browning forgot to record on the coma patient's file that they were DNR. She's not happy that Browning is willing to let Lynsey take the rap for his mistake. Brendan wins one of the casino games and encourages Darren to get stuck in. Neil almost runs Rhys down whilst reversing in Tony's car. Tony refuses to continue teaching Neil. Darren cashes in Jack's cheque and prepares to start gambling again.Cast
