Synopsis
Cheryl worries about Brendan following Declan's departure. Dodger hosts an intervention for Dennis over Leanne, but Will and Liberty don't like how Dodger is using it to effectively bully Dennis. Maddie's back from her Christmas holiday, and she's brought presents for all her friends.Plot
Jono is on cloud nine, having lost his virginity to Ruby last night. George tidies up his room in the squat. Dennis has a letter inviting him to Mumbai for a secondment. He asks Dodger for advice about Leanne. Callum and George catch Jono in a good mood and realise he must have slept with Ruby. George is quick to spread the gossip. Dodger learns about the secondment and thinks Dennis is daft for considering putting it off because of Leanne. Cheryl doesn't think Brendan's coping well without Declan.
Neil almost slips up when he asks Jono how his first time with Ruby was. Maddie returns from her holiday. Everyone is pleased to see her. George asks Callum not to tell Maddie about his circumstances. Callum realises George's parents didn't approve of him being gay. Dodger hosts an intervention for Dennis. Maddie notices George has lost weight. She invites her friends to the folly in the evening for a surprise. Will and Liberty aren't impressed with how Dodger and Dirk are dealing with Dennis. Jono lets Ruby come with him to the folly for Maddie's surprise.
Will and Liberty point out to Dodger that he bullies Dennis. Maddie hands out presents to Jono, Sinead, Bart, George, Callum and Tilly. She gives an odd look when Jono shares his present - a chocolate bar - with Ruby. Dennis tells Leanne about his secondment; she doesn't react how he hoped she would. Brendan's adamant he's fine when asked by Cheryl. Maddie can't believe Jono and Ruby are together. Alone in his squat, George hears a domestic incident occurring upstairs.Cast
