Synopsis
A trip to the cinema ends in disaster for Brendan and Declan. Callum tries to help boost George's self-confidence, but a fight breaks out in the bar and George is punched in the face. Jono and Ruby have their first date.Plot
Ruby tries on dresses for her date with Jono. Brendan and Declan practice some boxing. George works on the fox-hunting project in the squat. Cheryl thinks Brendan should talk to Declan about his behaviour. Ash questions Brendan on the events of last night. Jono arrives at the Dog for his date with Ruby. They agree to go to the cinema. Brendan and Declan also head to the cinema. Declan gets aggressive when two lads jump the queue. Brendan keeps Declan under control.
Jono heads into the gents to buy condoms but is interrupted by Jack, who issues him a threat if they get intimate at the cinema. George and Callum meet with Barney to discuss fox-hunting. At the cinema, Jono gets a text from Neil asking if he and Ruby have done anything yet. Callum asks George to get a round of drinks; at the bar a group of men are homophobic towards George. Jono and Ruby kiss at the cinema. Declan returns from the cinema toilets having slapped one of the lads who jumped the queue. The pair leave when security show up. Callum stands up for George at the bar. At fight ensues and George is punched in the face.
At home, Declan reveals that someone at his school called Brendan a "murdering queer" so he dealt with them. Brendan sends Declan to his room so that they can talk tomorrow. Ruby and Jono snog in the back of Bart's car. George has a nosebleed. Callum wants to escort George home but George makes excuses, so Callum says he can stay at his for the night. Brendan loses his temper in Chez Chez. George bathes at Callum's and then sleeps on the floor. In the middle of the night, and as Brendan sleeps soundly on the couch, a fully-clothed Declan leaves with a rucksack.Cast
