Synopsis
There's a pub quiz on at the Dog, but it only goes to expose the Brendan-like traits that are rubbing off on Declan when his team are disqualified for cheating. Dennis takes a new approach to Leanne, but it doesn't have the effect on her that he'd hoped for. Ruby asks Jono on a date.Plot
Declan's keen for his next activity with Brendan. Jono's confused by the headline on the newspaper billboard: "Six former loses prize virginity". Darren prepares the Dog for a quiz night. Declan asks Ste why Brendan sacked him, but Ste won't tell him. Brendan catches the pair talking from a distance. He advises Ste to stay away from Declan but Ste isn't scared. Ricky warns Jono about Ruby. Dennis pretends to be on the phone to an ex whilst Leanne's around.
Lynsey thinks Brendan could have a negative influence on Declan. Brendan tells Lynsey and Cheryl they'll be taking part in the pub quiz tonight. Doug suggests the quiz night to Texas, Leanne and Dennis. Nancy thinks Ruby should ask Jono out. Bart, Sinead, Neil, Jono, George, Callum, Ruby and Ricky attempt to team up for the pub quiz, but as there can only be a maximum of seven on a team, Ricky ends up joining Cheryl, Lynsey, Brendan and Declan's team. The quiz gets underway. Leanne's upset by Dennis when he's persistently rude to her and puts her down.
Brendan encourages Declan to cheat by checking one of the punter's answers at the bar as he heads outside and phones a friend for answers, but is caught by Jono and Ruby. Ruby tries to find out from Sinead what Jono's been saying about her. The quiz results are in: the Brady's come first but are disqualified following a tip-off that they cheated. Declan portrays Brendan-like traits to the results, concerning Cheryl. Jono insists neither he nor Ruby said anything. Ruby admits to Jono she grassed Brendan up, but Jono doesn't mind. Ruby asks Jono out on a date and they kiss.Cast
