Synopsis
Bart receives a Christmas present from his father. Declan doesn't want to go back home. Leanne returns to an unwanted gift from Dennis. Ruby's birthday party is nothing like she'd envisioned it to be.Plot
It's Ruby's birthday. George leaves the squat for sixth form. Bart's gifted a car by his father for Christmas. Brendan phones Eileen about Declan; Cheryl takes over the call and reassures Eileen they'll have Declan back to her tomorrow. Dennis looks forward to Leanne returning. George is paired up with Callum for a general studies project. Neil wants George and Jono to skip Ruby's birthday party in favour of another girl's party.
Declan doesn't want to go back home. Lynsey suggests they go bowling before Declan has to leave. Leanne's back. Dennis goes to hug her but she walks straight past him. Cheryl and Brendan have a heart-to-heart about Declan and what's best for him. George, Jono, Neil and Sinead hang out with Bart in his new car. They forget about Ruby's party! Ruby's party has a poor turnout. She can't stop thinking about how Sinead and her group haven't shown up. Dennis has a Christmas present to give to Leanne but keeps it back when she comments on how awkward it would be if he bought her a present, as she hasn't got him one. Jono's tasked with heading to Ruby's party and sneaking some food from the buffet back to the car.
Jono heads inside the Dog to witness the poor turnout and, feeling bad for Ruby, stays back and cheers the birthday girl up. When Neil texts Jono asking where he is, Jono replies asking the group to head on over for Ruby. Declan and Brendan bond over bowling. Texas finds Dennis's Christmas present for Leanne: it's sexy lingerie. She shows Leanne and Doug. Leanne wonders how Dennis knew her sizes. Ruby and Jono kiss as Sinead, George, Neil and Bart arrive for the party. Brendan, Declan, Cheryl and Lynsey return to the village after a fun time bowling. Brendan decides Declan will be staying around and no longer heading home tomorrow.Cast
