Synopsis
There's a bullet next to Brendan's bedside, but how did it get there? Cheryl, Lynsey, Nancy, Mitzeee and Jacqui struggle to remember just what happened on their very drunken night out. Ruby and Esther hand out invitations for Ruby's birthday party.Plot
Cheryl, Lynsey, Nancy, Mitzeee and Jacqui all wake up with nasty hangovers. Ruby feels like her invitations for her party are childish. Brendan wakes up to a bullet next to his bedside. Cheryl and Lynsey attempt to piece together the events of last night. Ste's quick to leave College Coffee when Brendan shows up. Ash asks Brendan where he spent the night. A flashback reveals he visited a business travel hotel and scouted out a businessman.
Ash tries to get another recording out of Brendan but notices he's not himself when the camera's on. Once it's turned off, she tries unnerving him by mentioning Ste's name, before insisting he shares more about what happened to him on his night out. Another flashback shows Brendan was harassed by a group of men at the bar. George sneaks leftover food from the coffee shop in his pocket. After sleeping with the businessman, Brendan witnessed the men from the bar approach and assault the businessman. Brendan drove off. Cheryl, Mitzeee, Lynsey and Nancy feel like they're forgetting something from last night. Their memories are jogged when Tony notes that Cindy never showed up for her first shift. Ruby hands out her invitations. Ricky doesn't get one.
The women head to a van and release Cindy, who they locked inside at some point during the night! Jacqui claims it was payback for getting them locked up. Cindy joins the book club. Ruby ends up letting Ricky to her party. Ash finds the bullet in Brendan's coat pocket and realises he didn't just walk away from the businessman. A third flashback discloses that Brendan did actually return and protect the businessman, before taking him back to his and sleeping with him. Brendan offered the young man the bullet but was told to keep it. Ash records Brendan as she tells him he cares and that's what makes him weak. Brendan feels invincible and tells Ash he won't let anyone in. Ste then arrives with Declan, who has left his mum.Cast
