Synopsis
Cindy fails to give Carmel the seven weeks wages she's owed and then fires her when the bailiffs show up, but Myra isn't willing to let Carmel leave quietly. Nancy sets up a book club consisting of Cheryl, Lynsey and Mitzeee so that she can talk to them about real problems women face and get their opinions without them knowing she needs them for an article. Ash encourages Barney to apply for the job at Chez Chez.Plot
Ash spots Brendan advertising for bar staff at Chez Chez. Cindy ignores final demand mail at Cinergy. Carmel points out she hasn't been paid in seven weeks; Cindy heads to the bank. Brendan eyes up Doug for the job. Myra opens Cindy's mail at Cinergy and discovers repossession orders. Ash prompts Barney to try out for the job at Chez Chez. Nancy wants to get a group of women together to talk about the problems they face for an article, but without them knowing what she's up to so that their opinions are authentic. She sets up a book club with Cheryl, Lynsey and Mitzeee and secretly records their conversations.
Cindy returns without Carmel's wages. Myra has to lock the three of them inside when the bailiffs show up. The bailiffs soon leave as they can't get into Cinergy. Cindy then fires Carmel and leaves for the Dog. Brendan makes a fool of Barney at his trial shift. Amy obtains Ste's wages from Brendan. Needing a subject for her psychology assignment, Ash sets her sights on Brendan. Myra takes money from Cinergy's till as Jacqui supports a tearful Carmel. Cindy fears she's going to become a laughing stock. She doesn't do herself any favours when she eavesdrops into the book club's conversation and laughs at Mitzeee for admitting she was in the "not hot" section of the "What's Hot, What's Not" list. Cheryl prevents a scrap between the ladies and they leave.
Myra spots the book club women in the village and invites them into Cinergy for Carmel's "leaving party". Carmel rushes off to find Cindy to tell her what's going on. Ash puts herself forward for the job at Chez Chez. The women get drunk on expensive champagne at Cinergy. Nancy drops her voice recorder whilst asking Mitzeee about no longer being a commodity in the world of celebrity. Mitzeee attempts to get the recorder off of Nancy, who ends up falling into the hot tub. Carmel returns with Cindy, who is shocked by the events unfolding at her spa. Cindy and Jacqui brawl when Cindy goes to call the police. Brendan lets Ash start work immediately. The police arrive at Cinergy and take all of the women off to the cells.Cast
