Synopsis[]
Sol immediately clashes with his cellmate on his first day in prison. Sue is annoyed that Andy has applied for Zara to attend Hollyoaks Comprehensive without consulting her. Jasmine and Ruth's friendship comes to an end.
Plot[]
Sol has his photo taken and is given his prison clothes. His cellmate, Tank introduces himself. Ruth is sulking in her room. Jasmine drags her out and they argue. Ruth makes clear she wants Jasmine out and Jasmine makes clear she will leave when she finds somewhere to live. Paul decides to re-paint an old looking fence. Sol and Tank argue in the cell over the radio being switched on. It gets broken during the fight and Tank pins Sol to the wall as a guard walks past. Lewis and Finn think Paul's gone a little OTT with the wall.
Andy and Sue argue over whether a school change will help Zara. Jasmine is sour towards Lewis, in a mood over her argument with Ruth. Gina blames Paul for Sol receiving a custodial sentence rather than community service. She insults Paul about his inability to read and he is fuming. Sol crosses Tank again and Tank is about to rough him up when a guard arrives. Gina lies that the paint is exterior paint to Lewis and Finn, covering Paul's inability to read. Paul thanks her and they make amends.
Zara is annoyed that Andy is in a mood with her. Cindy stresses as she cannot work out why the till is £110 short, she asks Sean if he returned the money he borrowed and Sean is offended. Ruth assumes Jasmine has discussed about her and Ruth with Lewis and confronts her, Jasmine is furious. The boys are slightly suspicious at how many card games Lewis is winning. He ends up winning a load of money at the end, and decides to quit whilst he's ahead.
Zara is thrilled to learn she's going to a new school but Sue is furious as they hadn't finished discussing it. Zara is horrified to learn she will be going to Hollyoaks Comprehensive and Sue is angry that Andy has made the decision without her. Sol is furious to discover Tank has stolen his watch and is beaten up when he goes to get it back.
