Synopsis
Going back to events that took place on 29th May 2009. Secrets are revealed.Plot
Warren holds Theresa over the edge of the roof. She begs for her life. Back in May 2009, Warren sits surrounded by flames in the burning club. Three days earlier, Warren's van is robbed by a man, who he chases. The man overpowers him but leaves his pocket knife behind. It reads "Dale Greer, 4th Cheshire Artillery". Warren later finds him at the jetty in a state. Dale tells Warren that he's going to kill himself, as he's a murderer. He killed a teenager joyriding in his father's car and refused to stop whilst in Helmond. Warren gives him advice. Back in the burning club, Warren breaks free from his ties and jumps down the staircase.
Two days earlier, Dale wants to pay back what he owes to Warren for this theft. Theresa stares at Warren, who blows her a kiss. Six hours before the fire, Dale reveals that he has been sleeping rough after moving out of her sister's. Warren isn't sure why he's helping Dale. Later, Warren asks Justin to burn down The Loft. He finds his baseball bat missing and is bludgeoned with it, waking up tied and gagged by Clare Devine. Warren jumps down the staircase and looks in the mirror, which falls on him. The shards of glass miss him and he survives. The floor gives way and he falls into the cellar.
Dale finds Warren and rescues him. Anita tells Theresa about The Loft catching fire. They decide to sneak around the back. Dale decides to start his life again but Warren calls in his favour and stabs Dale. Theresa witnesses him throwing Dale's body into the cellar. She runs away. Warren accidentally drops the knife in the cellar but has to abandon it to escape from the emergency crew.
Theresa contemplates calling 999 but stops herself. Warren texts someone from Dale's phone, saying that he's heading to a kibbutz, before throwing it in the pond. He pockets Dale's wallet. In the present day, Warren tells Theresa that he paid a forensic investigator to falsify the DNA results. He prepares to push her off the roof until she admits to killing Calvin Valentine. Warren receives a text, realising that Theresa isn't his blackmailer.Cast
