Synopsis
Malachy and Mercedes decide they want a baby of their own after looking after baby Angel, but find themselves thrown off their feet by an explosion whilst standing in front of Il Gnosh. Brendan is tense as Cheryl vows to identify his mystery lover, whilst Lynsey and Cheryl are left feeling hurt over Malachy and Mercedes's reconciliation.Plot
The peaceful village is rocked by an explosion at Il Gnosh.

Mercedes and Malachy have an awkward dinner. Leanne invites Amy to the wedding. Tony stresses over the financial issues at Il Gnosh. Amy has just received her student loan money. Lee worries when Amy tells him that Leanne said he was pushing for the wedding. Malachy ends up helping Mercedes with Angel. Dom tells Mandy that Tony is near bankruptcy. Lee gets overwhelmed discussing wedding plans with Leanne. Malachy starts changing his views on Mercedes whilst seeing him hold Angel. Brendan refuses to lend Dom any money. Dom comes face-to-face with Warren.
Amy agrees to babysit for Gabby. Lee tells Amy that he’s in love with her. He offers to leave Leanne for her and they kiss. Carmel forgives Mercedes for her affair with Calvin. Malachy and Mercedes also reunite. Mandy tells Warren that she doesn’t want Dom involved in her revenge plot against Tony. A lit match is dropped through the letterbox of a trashed Il Gnosh, causing a fire. Mercedes tells Malachy that she wants to have a baby with him. A burning shelf falls over in Il Gnosh and a sleeping Amy fails to hear the smoke alarm blasting. As Mercedes and Malachy walk past the restaurant, they are blown off their feet by an explosion. In the upstairs flat, a fire also starts.Cast
