Synopsis
Sinead prepares to make a splash on her first day at school, but the head is accidentally soaked with her bucket of water! Sinead and Finn are disgusted when Amber reveals that she has a crush on Rob - who is their father! Alistair suffers a heart attack. Eva is offered a job at the school, Steph is upset that Gilly won't accept her impending death, and Anita tells Eva that she never wants to see her again.Plot
Alistair bribes Cindy into signing the prenuptial agreement with a holiday in the Seychelles. Diane reluctantly gives Sinead money when she throws her sandwich in the bin. Steph is stunned as Cindy complains about Alistair and gets annoyed when she receives no sympathy. Finn tries to introduce himself to an unimpressed Amber. Duncan taunts Anita. Darren explodes at Cindy when she complains about Steph. The deputy headteacher Mr. O'Connor diffuses an argument between Sinead and Amber when Amber starts insulting Finn. Cindy is dumbfounded when Darren tells her that Steph's cancer is terminal. Anita is horrified when Eva is interviewed for school counsellor. Cheryl is stunned when Steph snaps at her for not telling everyone about her condition.
Sinead plans a prank on the deputy headteacher, but injures the headteacher instead. Amber reveals her crush on Mr. O'Connor, only for Finn to reveal that he's his dad. Mr. O'Connor - now the acting headteacher - offers Eva a job as a design assistant. Steph asks Cheryl to spread the word for her. Steph is furious when Gilly starts talking about “other treatments” with Cindy. Sinead and Finn are horrified to learn that Rob is going to be acting headteacher. Anita disowns Eva and wants her to move out. Steph makes Gilly face the fact that her condition is terminal. When he refuses to, she gives him the ring back. Cindy tries to break up with Alistair but he suffers a heart attack and collapses right in front of her.Cast
