Synopsis
Jacqui prepares to furiously confront Des over his racist rant, but is left lost for words when he proposes to her. Steph is informed that the operation was not a success, and her cancer has spread. The Costellos are surprised when Jasmine arrives. Kris is nervous about his new job at the bank.Plot
Michaela shows Jacqui a video of Des ranting about multicultralism. Jacqui storms off when Tina and Calvin are mentioned. Steph and Gilly discuss wedding and honeymoon plans. Heidi is thrilled when her daughter Jasmine arrives from the United States. Des refuses to speak to Rose. She gives him the wedding ring. Kris’s first day starts off as a disaster when he rips his pants and Gilly spills a coffee over him.
Jacqui struggles with the idea of ending things with Des. Myra accidentally headbutts Kris whilst pouring vinegar over his stain, and then his briefcase is stolen. Steph and Gilly dance together. Jasmine is unhappy to see Jem. Steph starts to struggle with the thoughts of never having children. Kris returns home angrily without saying a word to Nancy. Jasmine is angry when Heidi shows her a dress she’s bought her. Heidi thinks she’s upset over Jem. Kris’s first day went well but he’s upset as he is now he’s “normal”. Steph is informed that she still has cancer and needs chemotherapy immediately. Des proposes to Jacqui at The Dog in the Pond. She is speechless.Cast
